For those who don’t know, here is their bio:

“3 piece made up of unlikely musical heroes who fate brought together following a maelstrom of misfortune.

Now some say misery is the great inspirer and you can believe this if you will, but it sure has helped the members of BIG TERROR create a truly unique collection of songs which nod at 70’s movie soundtracks through indie to deep authentic hip hop.

Big Terror are now set to go places, steadily building a hardcore of fans at their notorious West London house sessions and now with their first single ready to present to the public.”

Give one of the tracks a listen!

As a huge fan of 70’s movies, this was especially awesome for me. I loved every second of this album. I sat in my room here, bobbing my head, vibing along to every moment. From tracks like “Fudge,” “Feed the Impossible (which you can listen to above),” “Sitting Out Back,” “Slow Down,” and more, the album gives you tons of material to jam out to.

There’s a very cool feel to the hip hop vibe of it all, but this is most certainly pop inspired. It’s definitely catchy. I’ve had the various beats I heard on this album stuck in my head since the moment I heard them. The production of this work is all top notch, as well. If you enjoy good music and films from the 1970’s like I do, you’ll love this.

NOTE: The 1970’s are the best decade for film. Anyone who says any differently can step up and FIGHT ME! (Kidding – obviously)

However, if you find you don’t belong in the very specific group that I do, you’ll still find plenty to enjoy. It’s quality, groovy music that you can put on and enjoy so much, it’ll be over before you know it. It definitely has that “time flies by while you listen” quality to it.

Don’t wait around! Prolific London hip-hop/Brit Pop outfit Rebel ACA & French Monkey Wrench are back with Big Terror, out now via Buttercuts Records.
