The Best Moment of RAW (5/2/2016)

monday night raw, sami zayn

Welcome back to “The Best Moment of RAW,” where I, Mr. X, take an entire episode of WWE’s flagship television show, Monday Night Raw, and boil it down to the very best that it had to offer. This week, the best moment goes to Sami Zayn. Right now, the Intercontinental Championship scene is a bit crowded.

Seems WWE is teasing a fatal four way between Kevin Owens, Cesaro, The Miz (who’s champion), and Sami Zayn. After a scuffle, the Underdog From the Underground ended up standing tall, holding the IC title above his head. The crowd in attendance ate it up.

NOTE: The video below ends with the scene I just described. I was going to cue it up, but why skip Kevin Owens vs. Cesaro?

This choice was easy: Rusev winning the battle royal to become the number one contender for the United States Championship.

After his win, The Bulgarian Brute cut this phenomenal promo:

Finally, the main event of the show was a thoroughly entertaining six-man tag team match: AJ Styles, Karl Anderson, and Luke Gallows vs. Roman Reigns and The Usos.
