This seemed like a certainty for a while, but then a question arose. Would Shinsuke Nakamura pass the required physical? If not, would he only work a one match deal for NXT TakeOver: Dallas, and then head back to Japan?
None of that matters now. Yesterday, WWE.com published this article, featuring links to pictures and videos from the press conference where Nakamura’s signing was officially announced. He’s in, and it’s not just to take on Sami Zayn in Dallas. The King of Strong Style is officially on the NXT roster.
If you want to see some of his many dope matches before he shows up on television, click HERE. You’ll see much hot fire. On top of all that, you should seek out his match with AJ Styles at the recent Wrestle Kingdom 10. It’s insanely good.
The amount of talent this man is bringing to NXT is off the charts. I can only hope Hideo Itami makes his return, and the two of them get to step into a ring together. Can you imagine that? No doubt in my mind it’ll be a match of the year candidate.
I won’t even begin to get into the match possibilities if Shinsuke Nakamura makes it to the main roster. There’s too many! I’d be here all day.
