Welcome back to “The Best Moment of RAW,” where I, Mr. X, boil the most recent episode of WWE’s flagship television show down to the very best that it had to offer. This week, the choice was very clear. As you can see from the featured image, I went with Kevin Owens recapturing the Intercontinental Championship. No other moments necessary (especially since the main event was purely setup for the newest episode of Stone Cold’s podcast).
The biggest takeaway from the show was undoubtedly the title change. It helps to light a fire under Dean Ambrose’s ass, and will probably play into a heel turn for him on Sunday at FastLane. At least I hope it will.
Anyway, let’s stay on topic. KO won the title during the opening bout: a Fatal 5-Way. His competitors: Dean Ambrose (obviously), Dolph Ziggler, Stardust, and Tyler Breeze. Of course, Prince Pretty ending up eating the pin, allowing Kevin Owens to become a two-time Intercontinental Champion.
