The movie has already made a ton of money. As I type this, it’s 11:22PM, February 14th, 2016, and BoxOfficeMojo.com has “Deadpool” listed at $260,174,858 for a worldwide total, and $135,050,000 for a domestic total. So, obviously there has to be a sequel on the way, right?
If you saw the film, then you know the post-credits scene is a very perfect homage to “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.” It featured Deadpool coming out, and breaking the fourth wall in the same way that Ferris did, telling anyone left in the theater to leave.
After that, Captain Deadpool (nah, just Deadpool) came back into frame, and announced that the popular character Cable will be appearing in the sequel. Stephen Lang has already put himself in the running for the role. If you ask me, he’d be absolutely perfect.

What do you guys think? Down for Lang as the time traveling Cable? If so, you’re not alone.
