Earlier today, it came out that three talents were let go from NXT: Bull Dempsey, Marcus Louis, and Sylvester Lefort. I’ve never had much of a connection to Louis, or Lefort. Sylvester, particularly, was on TV before I really started watching NXT. I thought Louis had something to him, though. I enjoyed him coming out to no music, and playing up the creep factor. Guess we’ll see where he goes from here.
Same goes for all of them. The one that really gets me, though, is Dempsey. I didn’t care much for him when he was doing the tough guy gimmick opposite Baron Corbin, and getting jobbed out, but I came around when he found BullFit. He made the humor work, and got over big time because of it.
Here’s his goodbye, tweeted out to all his fans:

Check out the responses he got. A lot of people started to get behind Bull Dempsey. He’ll be missed. Hopefully he can find his way out there, and get booked in some of the many wrestling promotions that aren’t WWE. Being able to put “Former NXT Superstar” on a poster, or banner will be enough for quite a few of them to bring him in.
He won’t be the first guy to be let go from NXT or WWE, and go and make a living out in the world.
Before I go, Lefort also tweeted a short, but meaningful goodbye. By the way, I hope nothing I’ve written reads as a slight to the other two. I’m simply a bigger fan of Bull, but I genuinely hope that all three of them find their way.
