That’s right, this crossover is actually happening! In March, Grant Gustin will appear as Barry Allen/The Flash on the CBS show, “Supergirl.” The specifics of the plot are being kept under wraps for now, and will be announced at a later date.
“Flash” and “Supergirl” executive producers Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg had this to say:
“We are so incredibly excited to announce something that we have dreamed of happening since we started making ‘Supergirl’ – The Flash and Supergirl are teaming up! We want to thank Grant Gustin for making the time to come visit (on top of his already immense workload) and all of the folks at CBS, The CW, Warner Bros. and DC for working this out. And finally thanks to the fans and journalists who have kept asking for this to happen. It is our pleasure and hope to create an episode worthy of everyone’s enthusiasm and support.”
What do you guys think? Hyped that another live action superhero crossover is going to happen? Yeah, as are we at Nerdopotamus. We had given up on “Supergirl,” but this is definitely enough to get us back on board. At the very least, it’ll be for one episode, but still!
We’re hyped AF to see Flash and Supergirl interact on screen.
