We at Nerdopotamus.com are deeply saddened by the loss of Alan Rickman. He passed away today, at the age of 69, after fighting a losing battle with cancer. The man brought one of cinema’s greatest villains to life: Hans Gruber. He was most famous, however, for playing Severus Snape in the “Harry Potter” films.

Rest in peace, Alan Rickman. You will be fondly remembered for years and years to come.
