Last night, it was announced that John Cena needs surgery, and will likely miss WrestleMania 32. That means it is going to be the first ‘Mania since 19 that doesn’t feature either Randy Orton, or The Doctor of Thuganomics (the former Legend Killer was injured months ago). That’s very big news! For over a decade, we’ve been accustomed to seeing the man (and The Viper) at The Showcase of the Immortals.
Now is the time for the NXT generation to go out there, and shine.
Rather upside down start to 2016 as tomorrow I will head to Birmingham for shoulder surgery. Life’s full of set backs but #nevergiveup

While we’re on the subject of injured performers, I have a picture to share with you all. I was surfing Anthony Iovino’s wrestling discussion group, MARK OUT ENTERTAINMENT, and it completely stopped me in my tracks. What a bummer.
Every performer who walked out of WrestleMania 31 with a title is now injured.
