Here on Nerdopotamus, we absolutely love “Arrow,” and “The Flash.” See, we’re all very huge on DC and Marvel Comics. More than that, we all love comic books, in general. We’ve been reading for years. I was sick a a lot, as a child, and as such, I spent a lot of time in the hospital. My mom and grandmother would bring me comics to raise my spirits. It was mostly X-Men, because I loved the animated series, but as I grew, so too did my tastes.
By now, I actually consider myself to be a bit more of a DC fan. That’s why I am hyped AF for these two upcoming crossovers, which will introduce even more characters from DC history. The episodes are basically a two-hour, backdoor pilot for “Legends of Tomorrow.”
Some people are very upset about that. Personally, I can’t wait. I’m dying to see that show, and I’m a sucker for more characters from the comics. That’s why I loved Constantine’s appearance on “Arrow,” as much as I did.
The first part of the crossover will be on “The Flash,” with an episode entitled, “Legends of Today.”
The SPOILER filled description is below.
In its second major crossover event with “Arrow,” Vandal Savage (guest star Casper Crump) arrives in Central City and sets his sights on Kendra Saunders (guest star Ciara Renée). After Vandal attacks Kendra and Cisco, they turn to Barry for help. Realizing how dangerous Vandal is, Barry takes Kendra to Star City and asks Oliver and team to hide her until he can figure out how to stop Vandal. However, things quickly go from bad to worse when a man with wings AKA Hawkman (guest star Falk Hentschel) shows up and flies off with Kendra. Meanwhile, Harrison develops a serum to make Barry run faster and asks Jay (guest star Teddy Sears) to test it out.
The second part will take place on “Arrow,” the next night.
Oliver and Barry Allen take Kendra Saunders and Carter Hall to a remote location to keep them hidden from Vandal Savage while they figure out how to defeat him. Malcolm arranges a meeting between Vandal, Green Arrow and The Flash that doesn’t go as planned. Meanwhile, Felicity, Thea, Diggle and Laurel work with Team Flash to come up with a weapon powerful enough to destroy Vandal Savage.
What do you guys think? Hit the comment section, and let us know. The crossover starts on December 2nd, on “The Flash,” and then concludes on “Arrow,” on December 3rd. It should be one hell of a ride.
