Welcome back to one of the most self-explanatory series’ we have here on Nerdopotamus (second only to The Best Moment of RAW). I created this series so that I could collect the loudest reactions in the history of professional wrestling. As a fan, there’s nothing better than those insane moments that drive a crowd absolutely wild.
In the first issue, we covered Dolph Ziggler’s Money in the Bank cash-in, which received a thunderous ovation. The same can be said for the moment featured in issue #2 (Daniel Bryan turning on Bray Wyatt and climbing back from the abyss known as the dark side).
For this installment, I thought we’d go back to a 2013 episode of Monday Night Raw for another moment featuring Daniel Bryan and The Yes Nation. In the segment, Triple H is talking about Champions. The crowd decided that he should be talking about Daniel Bryan, who was standing in the ring, along with a host of other former WWE and World Heavyweight Champions.
To make sure Triple H knew about their decision, every fan in attendance seemed to band together to hijack the broadcast for a number of minutes. It’s a glorious moment. Daniel Bryan does nothing but laugh, clearly flustered and pleasantly surprised by the amount of love that the crowd was showing him. Seriously, it’s incredible. Do yourself a favor, and press play.
How crazy was that? They completely took over the show.
Before you go, if you have any ideas for a future issue of this series, feel free to hit the comment section, and let me know. I welcome the suggestions.
THIS SERIES OF ARTICLES IS BROUGHT TO YOU IN PART BY MARK OUT ENTERTAINMENT
We here at Nerdopotamus are thrilled to have joined forces with Mark Out, and its owner Anthony Iovino.
Our goal is to present you all with more quality wrestling-based content. That’s why our first venture together will be the Nerd/Out Top 100 Wrestlers of the Year. We have formed a committee. The selection process has begun. The qualifying period is from WrestleMania 31 to WrestleMania 32.
That doesn’t mean it will be limited to WWE, to be clear. The performer’s promotion matters as much as their gender, which is not all. The only thing that matters is their ability as a professional wrestler.
Numbers 100-91 will be published on April 4th, 2016. From that point on, we’ll drop another ten numbers every day, until we are finished on the 13th.
We hope you all join us!
