Six-Man Tag Team Match

My pick for this match is The Cosmic Wasteland. I can’t say anything really bad about either team. I just really love The Ascension!

Dolph Ziggler vs. Rusev

The feud that won’t end… A lot of people are tired of this and I understand why. That being said, I’m cool with this continuing, I don’t mind long stories. All I can hope for is the payoff to be worth it. If I’m being honest, however, I don’t think it will be. The way I see this ending is that somehow Lana and Rusev get back together, which wouldn’t be good story telling. Realistic, yes, but not a good ending to a story.

My pick for this match is Dolph Ziggler. With the head games he’s played on Summer Rae this week, I think that she’s going to have some involvement with Ziggler pulling out the win.

Six-Man Tag Team Match
The Wyatt Family vs. Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns and ???

My pick for this match is The Wyatt Family. I’m not even going to go into who the mystery partner could be. Any scenario I come up with is disappointing to me. This comes down to two things for me. First, there’s The Wyatt Family, and how, until a couple of weeks ago, they were pretty much losing non-stop!

Second, there’s a new family member – Braun Strowman. Once he came into the picture, they’ve been unstoppable. That’s why my pick for this match is The Wyatt Family.

Divas Championship Match
Charlotte vs. Nikki Bella

I was rooting for Charlotte going into their title match on RAW, because I thought it would be great for Nikki to lose mere moments before having the longest title reign in Diva Championship history. That was, until I saw Charlotte with her bejeweled face! Once that image appeared, I knew she was going to lose. Now that the comedy moment has passed on Nikki losing before obtaining the longest reign, I look to the future.

My pick for this match is Nikki Bella. With the deck stacked against her for once, in this match Nikki Bella doesn’t have the championship advantage, if she gets counted out or disqualified, she loses the title, she’s going to look strong, win clean and retain her title.

Intercontinental Championship Match
Kevin Owens vs. Ryback

My pick for this match is Ryback. I think there’s still a lot that Ryback can do as champ and don’t want to see him lose it yet.

United States Championship Match
John Cena vs. Seth Rollins

I cannot tell you how many times I have changed my mind on the pick for this match. Every time I think I have it figured out, I see a new way to look at it. So, I’m going to keep this simple and not get into every little detail.

My pick for this match is John Cena. I’d love for the United States Championship Open Challenge to come back, even though it will just be filler before the next match between Cena and Rollins.

WWE Tag Team Championship Match
The Dudley Boyz vs. The New Day

Man, oh man, do I wish The Dudley Boyz had come back right after The Ascension beat the New Age Outlaws at the Royal Rumble, and feuded with them. I suppose that’s a conversation for another time, though.

My pick for this match is The Dudley Boyz. They’ve won titles all over the world, beaten everybody who is anybody, made the tag team division what it was during the attitude era. These guys are going to win this title match and no one is going to bet against them.

WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match
Sting vs. Seth Rollins

My pick for this match is Sting.

Yes, Sting is an Icon in the industry. He’s undoubtedly one of the greats. A former 2 time WCW United States Champion, former 3 time WCW Tag Team Champion and former 6 time WCW World Heavyweight Champion. He’s been involved in two 5 Star matches. He’s had two different matches of the year. He was named #1 Wrestler of the Year in 1992. I could go on, but I don’t think it’s necessary.

That was when he was younger, to be fair. Now though, he’s drunk dad.  That’s it. You know, the older dad who paints his face, gets drunk at a show and gets wild. He can’t take his shirt off anymore, because he’s not in the shape he used to be. Tries to jump the guard rail and get involved in things he has no business being involved in.

I thought he would beat Triple H at WrestleMania. It didn’t make sense, mind you. Triple H is in better shape than him. I still thought Sting would win. I mention that because his match with Triple H is why I think he’s going to win this one. He’s Sting, while older and not as in shape as his younger surfer self, he’s still the Stinger. Even if he has no business being in the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match.

Sting is going to win because Seth Rollins is going to make him win. Seth Rollins is going to get himself disqualified. Sting gets a notch in the win column, while in the WWE, and Seth retains his title.
